GWS star Toby Greene is free to play in the Giants’ blockbuster Friday night clash against the Western Bulldogs at Manuka Oval after being cleared by the match review panel.

Greene came under scrutiny for head-butting Sydney youngster Isaac Heeney, but the MRP said there was insufficient force in the contact to constitute a charge.

Meanwhile, the MRP dished out fines to five players relating to incidents over the weekend.

Bulldogs defender Easton Wood can accept a $1000 sanction for striking Brisbane Lions youngster Josh Schache.

North Melbourne backman Lachlie Hansen has been offered a $1000 fine for striking Fremantle’s Brady Grey.

Hawthorn superstar Cyril Rioli can accept a $1000 fine for striking West Coast defender Brad Sheppard.

And Geelong’s Nakia Cockatoo ($1500) and St Kilda’s Jake Carlisle ($1000) can accept fines for wrestling each other.
