Fremantle youngster Ryan Nyhuis has referred directly to the tribunal by the match review officer for engaging in rough conduct on Port Adelaide star Robbie Gray on Sunday.

There is no early plea available for Nyhuis whose dangerous sling tackle left Gray concussed and unable to take any further part in the match at Optus Stadium.

Meanwhile, Nyhuis’ teammate Nathan Wilson can accept two $1500 fines for misconduct on Power captain Travis Boak on two occasions.

Hawthorn midfielder Jaeger O'Meara has also been offered a $1500 sanction from Michael Christian for misconduct on Brisbane Lions hard nut Mitch Robinson.

Robinson’s teammate Darcy Gardiner can accept a $2000 penalty for rough conduct on Hawthorn’s Taylor Duryea and Collingwood veteran Levi Greenwood has also been offered a $2000 fine for rough conduct on West Coast swing man Jeremy McGovern.

Finally, Sydney youngster Ben Ronke has been cleared of contact he made with North Melbourne’s Trent Dumont.

According to Christian, the ball was loose with the players coming from opposite directions,  Ronke had his hands out for the ball before making high contact.

A free kick was paid to Dumont and Christian determined that Ronke was contesting the ball and that no further action was required.
