Adelaide captain Taylor Walker’s season could be over after he was offered a two-game suspension for his sling tackle on GWS superstar Josh Kelly in Canberra on Saturday night.

Match review officer Michael Christian charged Walker with rough conduct for the incident which concussed Kelly and left him lying on the ground for an extended period before he was finally helped from the ground with the aid of his trainers.

With only two games left in the season, Walker won’t be available until 2019 if he accepts the suspension.

North Melbourne veteran Jarrad Waite ($3000), Port Adelaide youngster Aidyn Johnson ($2000) and the Kangaroos’ Trent Dumont ($2000) have all been offered fines for engaging in rough conduct against Bulldogs utility Jackson Trengove,  West Coast’s Tom Cole and Bulldogs youngster Ed Richards respectively.

Meanwhile, Bulldogs 250-gamer Dale Morris can accept a $2000 sanction for tripping North youngster Jy Simpkin, Melbourne star Clayton Oliver has been offered a $1000 fine for making careless contact with an umpire and Sydney’s Dan Hannebery has been slapped with a $1500 fine for misconduct against Melbourne’s James Harmes.

Finally, Collingwood onballer Levi Greenwood has been cleared of making contact with Brisbane captain Dayne Zorko.

It was Christian’s opinion that Greenwood approached Zorko and leaned into his side and that there was negligible contact by Greenwood and he was not satisfied Greenwood was aware of any injury.
