Alex Fasolo's Must-Listen Post-Match Interview With Triple M Footy

Straight after icing a fantastic win for the Pies, Alex Fasolo joined the boys on Triple M for a post-match interview.

Mark Howard asked him about his battle with depression, and Fasolo opened up.

"If I'm really honest with myself, it's probably something that I've been battling for years," he told Triple M.

"It's something that I'm still learning a lot about myself, to be honest. I'm getting better, I'm getting the treatment that I need.

"It's a bit of a self-journey for me mate, to be honest."

He told Triple M he is on the improve.

"More than anything, it's the weeks, it's the weeks that were killing me...I was getting to the point where I couldn't hold conversations, I couldn't look blokes in the eye," he said.

"I just know the weeks are getting a lot easier for me...I'm progressing, I'm getting better."

Wayne Schwass spoke highly of him after the interview.

"His candour is admirable," he said.

"I really admire what he's been able to do."
