Collingwood has another injury out of their match against Fremantle, this time to star forward Jamie Elliott.

Elliott hurt his ankle early in the final term and went straight off the ground in the hands of trainers.

It sours a gutsy win for the Magpies, who defeated the Dockers 15.15 (105) to 12.13 (85).

Triple M caller Lachy Reid saw Elliott leaving the field.

"He's being helped off the ground, he cannot put his foot on the ground,"

"This is shocking news for a young talented star that's had a bad run with injuries in recent times."

Elliott was spotted on crutches after the game.

The 24-year-old has been on fire for the Pies, kicking three goals against the Dockers before going down.

He has now kicked 20 goals in his past seven games.

The Pies had Daniel Wells go off with a calf injury in the third term, as well as Tyson Goldsack nursing a shoulder injury.
