Port Adelaide will be without their skipper Travis Boak for at least a week with a hamstring injury.

Boak copped a hamstring injury on Friday night against Carlton, being ruled out for the remainder of the match.

The Power remain hopeful Boak's hamstring will only sideline him for a week.

Defender Jasper Pittard confirmed the news.

"Boaky's no good for this week, he's just got a minor hamstring injury so probably the week off for him," he told afl.com.au.

He also spoke on other injury concerns surrounding Hamish Hartlett and Jack Hombsch, saying they will face fitness tests this week.

"Hamish will be a test later in the week and Hombsch trained today, so I think if he can get through another solid training session on Thursday, he'd be pretty good to go," he said.

Ollie Wines will run out as captain in Boak's absence.
