Western Bulldogs defender Bailey Williams will miss at least a month of footy.

Williams will be sidelined with a foot injury suffered in Friday night's thrilling win over the Cats.

After pulling up sore, scans revealed the 20-year-old had some low grade bone stress in a metatarsal in his foot, according to the Western Bulldogs' website.

The club believes he will miss four to six weeks and will be managed "conservatively".

Williams has been impressive for the Bulldogs this season, playing 13 of a possible 14 games and averaging 20 disposals, five marks and 434 metres gained off half back.
