Fallen Eagle Ben Cousins was refused bail by a magistrate in Perth overnight.

The ex-West Coast and Richmond player will spend two weeks behind bars after he was arrested in possession of eight grams of ice on Thursday night.

The 38-year-old is also accused of seven breaches of a violence restraining order taken out against him by his former partner, and a charge of aggravated stalking.

The stalking charge carries a possible sanction of eight years in jail.

Magistrate Nick Lemmon refused bail after he decided that he couldn’t guarantee that Cousins wouldn’t reoffend.

Cousins was apparently remanded to WA’s maximum security Hakea prison.
