Ben Cousins has officially returned to West Coast, posing for a photo with two Eagles players.

The former Eagles star has returned to the club, joining them in a part-time community and game development role.

Cousins, in a West Coast club shirt, posed for a photo with forwards Willie Rioli and Liam Ryan, which Rioli posted to Instagram.

“Still a legend in our eyes,” Rioli wrote in the post, which has since been deleted.

“Honoured to have met him an (sic) had a laugh.”

Cousins was offered the part-time role at West Coast hours after being released from prison.

He was jailed for 10 months for stalking his ex-partner Maylea Tinecleff, bombarding her with text messages and phone calls.

He was due for parole in August but missed an opportunity for early release after failing a drug test.

“This has been a particularly hard time for Ben and his family and we look forward to him beginning the next phase of his life," West Coast said in a statement last month.

“He has been offered part-time employment by the club, working with our Community and Game Development department, which we believe will have mutual benefits for both parties.”
