Brendan Fevola On What To Expect Hosting Tonight's Brownlow Red Carpet

Brendan Fevola says he’ll be trying to put his own “little spin” on tonight’s Brownlow Medal coverage.

Fev is hosting Channel 7’s red carpet coverage, returning to Crown behind the mic for the first time since that Brownlow edition of Street Talk back in 2009.

He told Howie and Juddy on Triple M’s Rush Hour that he won’t dominate the fashion talk so much.

“I’m also doing it with the beautiful Rachael Finch,” he said.

“I’m not too much of a fashionistic, but I will be probably trying to put my little spin on it.

“Yeah, I made that word up!”

The fashion isn’t what will trouble him most, though.

“I’ve got three girls and obviously Alex at home, I’m okay with the fashion,” he said.

“But I’m looking at some of these names of players - I’ve got no idea who half these blokes are! That’s going to be my hardest bit, because I don’t watch too much footy.

“Hopefully Dusty (Martin) walks the carpet, because I sent him a text message earlier on and he said he might be trying to skip it, so hopefully I can get him before he goes out the back!”

He was also a little disappointed to hear Juddy wasn’t turning up on Monday tonight.

“I had a little skit all prepared, that’s all,” he laughed.
