GWS star Brett Deledio has impressed once again in the NEAFL.

Upping his game time, the 30-year-old was an important factor for the Giants in their loss to the Suns.

Deledio racked up 25 disposals, eight marks and pushed forward, though without success, kicking two behinds.

Most importantly, he played out the game, upping his game time from playing a half last week.

It brings even closer to an AFL return, which coach Leon Cameron said was likely next week.

"If he gets through those four quarters tomorrow up at the Gold Coast, then there's every chance that we'll heavily consider him the week after against Melbourne," he said on Friday.

"He's got to get through though in the manner that we want him to get through."

Jacob Hopper also completed his return from a finger injury, racking up 22 disposals across three quarters.
