Triple M Footy’s Brian Taylor believes the behaviour of Western Bulldogs club heavyweights Peter Gordon and Susan Alberti has played a big role in the team missing its chance to be a dominant force for a long period of time.

On Monday, Damian Barrett said the Bulldogs were in a “really bad place” following their 82-point loss to GWS in round one, and BT can’t see the Dogs’ rapid fall from grace after winning the 2016 flag ending anytime soon.

“There’s the problem,” BT told Triple M’s Rush Hour during The Midweek Rub.

“You’ve got Susan Alberti, you’ve got Peter Gordon bashing heads and Susan wants to be on the ground and Peter doesn’t want her on the ground, he wants her up in the stand, won’t let her in, padlock here, padlock there, no media pass.

“The two head honchos from the football club – get together, you two.

“They have missed an opportunity, in my mind, the Dogs to dominate for a six- or seven-year period – that’s what they’re risking right now.”
