Brian Taylor has revealed Campbell Brown has had a horror run in a one-off local footy appearance, copping three separate injuries.

Brown was playing a one-off Good Friday fixture for South Mildura in the Sunraysia Football and Netball League.

He played up forward, recording eight possessions and kicking 1.3.

He tweeted on Saturday he had "never been sorer today".

BT revealed the extent of Brown's soreness on the Saturday Rub.

"Campbell Brown (has) just been to Mildura," he said on Triple M.

"He played yesterday, broke his rib, dislocated his finger and did his knee."

Bit of a rough day for Brown, as BT said.

"It was put to him 'was the day a success?' and he said there was three and a half thousand patrons there," he said.

"What he didn't realise is that this game for years, a hundred years, has averaged four thousand people.

"Campbell Brown not quite getting it done up there!"
