Brian Taylor has labelled Friday night's crowd a "disgrace", telling North fans to lift their game.

North Melbourne and St Kilda drew just 26,107 fans as the Saints ran out 17-point winners.

BT said it wasn't good enough from North.

"Now listen, North Melbourne supporters," he said.

"You've gotta go and support your team.

"You're there crying when you don't get insert into a blockbuster game...when you're down, if you can't produce a crowd, you ain't getting blockbuster games.

"It's time you went and supported your team. Last night's turn-up, it was your home game - don't put it into St Kilda, Duck - it was North's home game, they bring the majority of the crowd.

"The crowd was a disgrace."

Wayne Carey suggested St Kilda should cop a share of the game.

"This is St Kilda's stadium as well," he said.

"Now I know it's not their home game, but don't just hang this on North Melbourne."
