The Brisbane Lions have delisted Ryan Bastinac and Jacob Allison, but have committed to re-drafting them as rookies later this month if they’re still available.

Lions football manager David Noble said this changes would help maximise the club’s capacity at the national draft in a fortnight’s time.

“During this year’s trade period we stated we were intent on going to draft, as we believe it is fairly strong,” he said.

“These changes will create more spots for us at the draft and maximise our selections as part of our overall list strategy, whilst being aware of the first year of live trading on draft night.”

Brisbane head to the national draft with three picks in the top 35 (18, 30 and 35).
