The Brisbane Lions’ newest draftees have chosen their jumper numbers ahead of the 2019 season.
Ely Smith will wear No.8, Thomas Berry has chosen No.13, Tom Joyce has taken No.32, Noah Answerth will don the No.43 while Connor McFadyen has assumed No.45.
The Lions announced new numbers for their trade period recruits earlier this month, too. Lachie Neale will wear No.9, Lincoln McCarthy has chosen No.11 and Marcus Adams has taken No.24.
There were a few number changes as well amongst the Lions’ already-listed players with Jarrod Berry moving from 13 to seven and Mitch Hinge taking 22 after previously wearing 42.
