Brisbane will mutually part ways with suspended welfare manager Craig Lambert.

Lambert, Brisbane's retention and strategy manager, and the club have mutually agreed for him to be released from the final year of his contract.

Lambert is currently suspended from his duties due to his role in the Lachie Whitfield drug saga last year.

He was banned for 12 months, along with Collingwood football manager Graeme Allan, while Whitfield copped six months.

“We wish Craig all the best, and look forward to seeing him take his next step in his football journey.”
