It’s been a tough couple of weeks for the AFLW Blues.

Last week they didn’t kick a goal in the first half and copped a pasting from Brisbane, ending up losing 6.4 (40) to 2.6 (18).

Then last night it got much worse, with Western Bulldogs spearhead Brooke Lochland kicking a record seven majors on their way to a 73 point walloping of the Blues.

Carlton had three goalless quarters on their way to 2.1 (13), with the Dogs sticking 12.14 (86) past them.

Even worse, the Dogs 26 scoring shots came from just 30 inside 50s, suggesting Carlton were completely helpless once the ball went in there.

The two losses have wreaked havoc on the Blues percentage — after healthily winning their first two games against Collingwood and GWS they sat on 226% at the end of round 2.

The loss to Brisbane was costly though, with that figure being scythed to 111%, before the Dogs trouncing saw it halved again down to 55%.

In fact, they conceded more points just last night than they’ve scored all season (86 - 83).

Things don’t get easier for the Blues from here either — next week they play reigning premiers Adelaide at Norwood Oval.
