Chad Wingard has decided to stay at Port Adelaide, according to Mark Robinson in the Herald Sun.

The enigmatic star forward had been linked to both Hawthorn and the Western Bulldogs, but has reportedly decided to stay at Alberton.

Wingard was reportedly asking for as much as $1 million a season, and Port coach Ken Hinkley had suggested he would be worth two first-round draft picks.

His meetings with other clubs apparently suggested to Wingard he was worth more or less what Port had assessed him as.

Damo dropped heaps of trade news on the Grand Final Rub on Saturday.
