Carlton’s brutal injury run has worsened, with Charlie Curnow set to miss this weekend’s clash with Adelaide according to The Age.

Curnow rolled his ankle at training on Tuesday.

Scans confirmed the injury was not serious, but he will be unable to take the field with his team mates at Adelaide Oval.

In happier news, ruck star Matthew Kreuzer is expected to be fit for the match.

The Blues are also hopeful skipper Marc Murphy will be right to go in two weeks.

Carlton have had a horror run in 2018, with all of the top four from last year’s best and fairest missing the last two games via injury and trades.
