Richmond forward Ben Griffiths retired from the AFL at the age of 26 yesterday to pursue a career as a punter in American football.
Griffiths has taken a four-year scholarship at the University of Southern California.
After Griffiths’ announcement yesterday, Prokick Australia — a company that helps Aussies transition to kickers in American Football — tweeted a video of Griffiths’ form.
Check it out here:
Judging by the markings on the left, it looks Griffiths’ roosts go well over 50 metres after getting plenty of height.
Griffiths leaves the Tigers after 63 games, including just two in the 2017 season.
