WA indie band Split Seconds put together a ripping West Coast-themed medley on Wednesday night.

Split Seconds — fronted by Eagles fan Sean Pollard — played at the Gasometer in Collingwood, and mashed up a few classics in tribute to West Coast players.

There's a tribute to goal kicking machine Josh Kennedy to the tune of The Beatles — Let It Be, a McGovern-themed John Paul Young homage called ‘McGovern’s In The Air’, a wink to KC & The Sunshine Band with That’s The Way Scott Lycett and Billy Idol gets a look in with “It’s a nice day for Jack Redden”.

They even get around Jon Giles with a Proclaimers inspired piece.

Who knows how much it inspired the West Coast players on their way to a 11.13 (79) to 11.8 (74) win over Collingwood at the G today.
