Collingwood has appointed Mark Anderson as its new CEO, according to the Herald Sun.

Anderson moves to the Pies from Swimming Australia.

He has been CEO there for four and a half years.

He will continue in that role until the end of the Commonwealth Games selection trials in February.

Prior to his role at the Swimming governing body, Anderson was in charge at Hockey Australia.

He will be replacing Gary Pert, who resigned this year after 10 seasons as Pies CEO.
