Collingwood has made its first batch of delistings, cutting four players.

Lachlan Keeffe, Henry Schade, Liam Mackie and Mitch McCarthy have all been told their contracts will not be renewed.

Collingwood general manager of football Geoff Walsh thanked the four for their time at the club.

“We first met Lachy when he was a 17-year-old soccer player in Gympie, and over the past ten years he’s become a very popular and impressive young man at the Collingwood Football Club," he told Collingwood's website.

“Henry, Liam and Mitch made the most of their opportunity coming through the rookie draft and committed to the football program and their teammates over the past 12 months at the club.

“We thank all four players for their contribution to both the AFL and VFL teams and wish them all the best for their future endeavours.”

Keeffe played 40 games for the Magpies before serving a two-year suspension, returning to the club's rookie list in 2017.

Schade played eight games for the Pies, after 20 games for Gold Coast.

Neither Mackie nor McCarthy made their AFL debut in the black and white.
