Collingwood has been fined $20,000 for a breach of list lodgement rules.

The Pies were fined after after they failed to lodge details of an unlisted player prior to the start of training last year.

The player was technically ineligible to train for the club at the time.

Half of the fine has been suspended until October 31st.

AFL investigating manager Ken Wood said that Collingwood had “fully co-operated in their investigation”, which was taken into account in the final penalty.

Collingwood’s AFLW season starts on Friday night against Carlton at Ikon Park, while the men’s team’s first JLT pre-season fixture is against GWS ay UNSW Canberra Oval on March 1.
