Collingwood has nominated Tyler Brown as a possible father-son selection selection for next month’s draft.

The Magpies have lodged paperwork to pick up Brown — son of 1990 premiership Pie Gavin — ahead of the 31st October deadline.

The Pies will decide on draft night whether to match any bid made by another team for Brown.

His brother Callum was picked by Collingwood as a father-son last year.

The Pies haven’t fully committed to picking up Brown, who plays as a midfielder.

His father Gavin played 254 games for the Magpies between 1987 and 2000 and was captain 1995-98.
