The Western Bulldogs have a well-documented history of cheeky banners, and today Collingwood’s AFLW side had a crack at taking them on at their own game.
Ahead of today’s game between the two sides in Moe, the Pies ran through a banner that took the piss out of Dogs board member Susan Alberti being locked out of last week’s AFLW game between the Dogs and Carlton at Whitten Oval.
Alberti was disallowed entrance to the ground via a gate for officials.
Check out the banner here:
It reads: “From Alice to Moe with plenty left in the engine, let’s shut out the Dogs like they did their club legend”.
The Dogs lead the Pies 2.0 (12) to 1.0 (6) midway through the first quarter of the clash.
