Hawthorn superstar Cyril Rioli is likely miss up to two months of the season after injuring his knee against Melbourne at the MCG today.

Rioli copped a knock to his knee just before half time at the MCG and couldn’t continue.

Triple M Footy’s boundary rider Michael Roberts revealed the extent of the injury on the coverage of the game.

“Cyril, left knee, grade two tear of the medial ligament, could be six, eight weeks,” Robbo said.

Robbo also said that Puopolo is likely to miss some time.

“Puopolo [has a] real bad hamstring [injury],” he said.

“Two defensive forwards could be out for a month, six weeks, eight weeks.”
