Hawthorn have said that their superstar forward Cyril Rioli suffered a suspected posterior cruciate ligament injury in their big win over Brisbane at University of Tasmania Stadium today.

The Hawks think Rioli will miss at least one week.

Rioli limped off the ground late in the third term after injuring his knee in a contest with Brsbane forward Josh Walker.

The star Hawk landed awkwardly after hitting Walker late in the back with his knee while trying to effect the contest.

Rioli had to limp off and was later seen with ice on his knee and a blanket around him.

He played no further part in the game, which the Hawks went on to win 17.11 (113) to 11.9 (75).

The Hawks take on Collingwood at the MCG next Saturday night.
