Triple M's Damian Barrett has confirmed Richmond star Dustin Martin has received a "significant" offer from North Melbourne.
Martin starred in the first game of the 2017 season for Richmond, with 33 disposals and four goals.
He comes out of contract at the end of the year, and has put off contract talks with the Tigers to focus on football.
According to Barrett, one club has already jumped to make an offer.
"North Melbourne has put in a very significant offer for him," he confirmed on the Friday Huddle.
"I don't get too bogged down in the money, but you know it's going to have to be a million dollars to get him out of the footy club.
"North wouldn't be the only club doing that."
Barrett said North's offer comes on the back of missing out on a big free agent last off-season.
"North had a massive crack at Isaac Heeney, missed out there, and now they've now made Martin (the next priority)," he said.
"They don't expect to get him deep down, but the offer's significant."
