Damian Barrett Gives Latest On Hogan, Gaff & More

Triple M Footy’s Damian Barrett confirmed on the Saturday Rub that a Jesse Hogan to Fremantle trade is definitely on the cards.

Damo described the possibility of the trade taking place as “stronger than its ever been”.

The trade being negotiated would need to involve Gold Coast as a third party due to Melbourne’s growing interest in Suns co-captain Steven May after their preliminary final exit.

“The (Steven) May to Melbourne thing is really starting to take hold,” Damo said.

“If they're going to have to bring in someone like that, they’re going to have to leverage out.”

“Hogan allows them to get into that conversation.”

In the extended trade chat, Damo also covered a range of other players including Andrew Gaff, Josh Kelly, Lachie Neale, Tim Kelly, Dan Hannebery, Scott Lycett and Darcy Moore.

Former West Coast premiership captain Chris Judd gave some intel on the Scott Lycett situation at his old club.

“I dare say West Coast will match that (Port Adelaide’s) offer, and look to force a trade,” Juddy said.
