Triple M Footy’s Damian Barrett believes if Geelong star Tim Kelly and GWS ruckman Rory Lobb go back to WA, West Coast is the only club they would want to go to.

Damo told Triple M’s Rush Hour on Monday that Fremantle are “struggling to sell themselves” as a destination club.

Both clubs are interested in recruiting Lobb and Kelly next year, but with the Eagles one game away from another grand final and Fremantle in the doldrums for a third consecutive season, West Coast is the only WA club that has appeal, according to Damo.

Kelly has another year to run on his contract with the Cats, but speculation relating to where he will play his footy in 2019 continues unabated.

Lobb is also contracted to the Giants until the end of 2019 but given the significant salary cap issues the club is facing, there is a good chance GWS will look to offload him to help ease the pressure.
