Triple M Footy’s Damian Barrett says that Andrew Gaff must be suspended for at least seven weeks for his punch that broke the jaw of Andrew Brayshaw.

Speaking on the Rush Hour, Damo said that it wouldn’t be right for Gaff to potentially play another game this year.

“To me I think it was serious enough that while I don’t think he set out to break his jaw, it was serious enough for me for him not to play again this year,” Damo said.

“To be guaranteed of that, they need to therefore hand down a seven week suspension because [there are] three home and away games and if West Coast was to play a qualifying final and lose it and then play the next three to get through to a grand final, that takes it to seven.

“I would be uncomfortable seeing him run out on a ground again this year because the person he hit’s not.”
