Another clue from the weirdest footy mystery in years.

As a quick summary: after Josh Jenkins suffered food poisoning last week from eating some dodgy ham, Geelong veteran Harry Taylor shook his hand post-match on Friday night with a piece of ham immediately after the game.

Many questions arose; including 'where did he get the ham from?', 'did he play a game of football with a piece of ham on him?' and 'why the f*** did he do that?'

But now, Geelong coach Chris Scott appears to have given us a hint.

Speaking to reporters, he said that Ham-Gate didn't appear to affect Taylor's performance.

"If the five goals from Harry are from the ham in his sock, he should play with ham in his sock," Scott said.

In his sock?!

In the words of Jenkins - "he's a bit of a weird cat" indeed.
