Richmond have suffered a blow days out from their blockbuster clash against Hawthorn at the MCG with premiership midfielder Dion Prestia withdrawn from the line-up.

Anthony Miles has taken Prestia’s spot in the Tigers’ squad as an emergency.

The former Sun has not played yet this year due to a hamstring complaint.

Richmond have made three changes to the side that lost to Adelaide last week with Nick Vlastuin, debutant Jack Higgins and Sam Lloyd replacing the suspended Josh Caddy as well as Shai Bolton and Corey Ellis who were both dropped.

The Hawks have made three changes of their own with James Frawley, Harry Morrison and Will Langford replacing James Sicily (suspended), Ryan Schoenmakers (Achilles) and Shaun Burgoyne (hamstring).

The Western Bulldogs and Essendon have also rung the changes for their clash at Etihad Stadium on Sunday.

Tory Dickson, Jack Redpath and Mitch Wallis come in for their first games of the year for the Dogs at the expense of Jackson Trengove (shoulder), Jordan Roughead (concussion) and Lukas Webb.

Essendon have welcomed back Orazio Fantasia, David Myers and Mark Baguley with Michael Hartley, Josh Begley and Kyle Langford making way.

Meanwhile, West Coast are unchanged for their meeting with Geelong at Optus Stadium on Sunday.

The Cats have made one change with Esava Ratugolea replacing Mark O’Connor.
