Just quietly, Port Adelaide youngster Dougal Howard now has an all-time record to his name.

The 21-year-old had played a mere nine games at AFL level before last night, but it didn't hold him back in his 10th.

Playing down back, Howard racked up a whopping 22 one percenters for the night, the most on record, overtaking Josh Gibson's previous record of 21.

One percenters contain knock-ons, spoils, smothers and shepherds, and Howard had a ton of them.

He was boosted a little by the extra time - three one percenters came in the added ten minutes, taking him to the top of the list - but a record is a record.
