Richmond superstar Dustin Martin took to Twitter last night to have a go at a 'footy journo' - before promptly deleting the message.

The Tweet referred to reports about he and his manager on the television last night; which is presumably a reference to Caroline Wilson discussing Martin on Channel Nine's Footy Classified.

Wilson spoke about his manager, Ralph Carr, being in discussions with rival clubs for his services in 2018.

"To me, that is reprehensible for anyone to do that, but certainly to be so dishonest, as some managers are, back to the clubs, who are currently employing the players," she said.

"I don’t know where the consent is. All I know is that Ralph Carr has spoken to other clubs … that doesn’t mean (Martin) is going to leave Richmond, but maybe it’s trying to up the ante. It’s a great concern for Richmond."

Here is what Martin typed in response:

The Tweet no longer appears on the midfielder's account.
