Dustin Martin has reportedly decided to stay at Richmond.

Multiple outlets have reported he will sign a new deal with the club with an announcement expected on Thursday night, ending the free agency speculation that has surrounded him all season.

It has been reported North Melbourne were told on Thursday he is out of the line.

He has signed a seven-year contract, a deal that will take him until the end of 2024 and all but ensure he will end his career at Richmond.

Fox Footy reported the deal is worth between $1.2 million and $1.3 million a season.

He was spotted meeting with his manager Ralph Carr on Thursday afternoon.

Martin became one of the hottest free agents in the game over the course of the season, with a mega offer from North Melbourne on the table.

The Roos were reportedly offering him at least $1.5 million a season over seven years, which would be the richest deal in AFL history, eclipsing Lance Franklin's nine-year, $10 million Sydney deal.
