The cousin of Adelaide Crows superstar Eddie Betts has kicked 20 goals for his local team over the weekend.

Victor Smith bagged 20 for the Boulder City Tigers reserves last week, taking his season's tally to 78 from just 9 games.

The 34 year-old Smith was modest in the wake of his remarkable haul, saying his individual feat would not have been possible without his teammates service.

“They were hitting me in the chest all day,” Smith told the Kalgoorlie Miner. 

“I could not have done it without the boys.” 

Smith has not always been a natural goal-sneak like his cousin, he only moved to full-forward at the start of 2015 after claiming he  played in the back pocket all of his footy career.

For the record, Boulder City defeated Kambalda 31.21 (207) to 0.0 (0)
