Adelaide star Erin Phillips has suggested a best of three series for the AFL grand final could be the way to go to prevent the MCG home ground advantage.
The last five seasons have seen a Victorian team beat an interstate team at the MCG in the decider, capped off by Richmond's win over Adelaide this year.
A few callers on Triple M Adelaide's Dead Set Legends tried to devise different alternatives, at which point Phillips proposed her idea.
She suggested a best of three series, with the first and third game hosted by the team that finished higher and the second hosted by the other team.
"My point was, obviously the Crows finished top, they get the first home game," he said.
"Second one goes to the MCG and then game three gets decided back at Adelaide Oval. Why not?
"Imagine the money in that one, KG!"
