Essendon youngsters Jordan Ridley and Dylan Clarke will make their AFL debuts this weekend against Geelong.

The pair will become the third and fourth debutants for the Bombers in 2018, following on from Matt Guelfi and Kobe Mutch.

The total of club debutants will now rise to seven when Devon Smith, Jake Stringer and Adam Saad are taken into consideration.

Ridley and Clarke have been in great form in the VFL and coach John Worsfold said they couldn’t be ignored anymore.

“The forced changes are forced because of the form of Clarkey and Riddles, they’re coming into the team,” Worsfold said.

Clarke and Ridley were taken at pick 22 and 63 respectively in the 2016 AFL draft.
