Collingwood and Essendon fans will need to pay top dollar to get access to the tickets to the annual ANZAC Day clash at the MCG.

The Herald Sun has reported that Essendon has taken advantage of hosting the home fixture and boosted ticket prices under the AFL's dynamic ticket pricing scheme.

This gives home teams the ability to alter the pricing of tickets for selected home games.

This is a much anticipated clash as it is the first ANZAC day match since Essendon has regained their full squad.

News Corp reports:

"The AFL seat pricing guide for Tuesday’s Essendon-Collingwood blockbuster lists Level 2A goal seats at $77, up $32.

Level 2A wing seats cost $77, up $27, Level 1 wing seats are $82, up $27, and Level 2 wing/goal tickets are $87, up $17."

For last seasons clash, Collingwood froze ticket prices, but Essendon have identified this as a blockbuster clash with crowds in excess of 90,000 people they want to cash in.

It is suspected that prices are expected to surge even higher in the coming days leading up to the game.
