Essendon has confirmed all compensation claims from their doping saga have been resolved.

The Bombers confirmed on Friday that all past and present players have had their matters settled.

Full statement:

Essendon Football Club can confirm all compensation claims relating to the 34 past and present players involved in the 2012 supplements program have now been resolved.

CEO Xavier Campbell said the Club was pleased to bring the matter to a close.

"It's has been a challenging and complex process,” Campbell said.

“I would like to thank the players and families for their patience and professionalism working through the process.

“The Club, through its lawyer Ken Adams of Herbert Smith Freehills, and with the assistance of the AFL, worked hard to ensure a consistent and fair framework was established and adhered to throughout the process."
