Essendon Reveal Injury Blow For Orazio Fantasia

Essendon have provided an injury update for forward Orazio Fantasia after he suffered a hamstring complaint against Carlton.

Justin Crow told the Bombers website that Fantasia had a hamstring strain in the first quarter that has since been diagnosed as a Grade 2+.

"This means he will miss 5-6 weeks," Crow said.

"Obviously we need everything to go right and we'll start to assess him over the coming week."

The news is better for Joe Daniher who has recovered after hyperextending his knee during the game.
