The first round of the 2018 AFL draft took place at Marvel Stadium tonight, with Carlton swapping their first round pick in 2019 with Adelaide for their own future first and pick 19 the biggest story of the night.

There were 22 players taken for overall, with a few added for priority picks and bids matched on academy players.
