Fremantle had their first hit out of JLT Series today, losing 12.9 (81) to 13.13 (91) despite leading by 10 points with two minutes left.

For Dockers fans the result was secondary to the form of their star player Nat Fyfe, however.

Fyfe was in everything, getting 27 touches — 19 of them kicks and 13 of them contested — six marks (three of them contested and four inside 50), eight clearances, seven inside 50s, four tackles and two majors.

He even found time to take the best mark of the preseason so far:

Fyfe split his time between the midfield and the forward line and had massive impact everywhere he went, leading fans on Twitter to announce that the 2015 Brownlow Medallist is very much back.
