Fears For The Worst After Matt Scharenberg Goes Down With Suspected Knee Injury

Collingwood defender Matt Scharenberg has gone down with what looks to be another knee injury.

This is especially worrying as Scharenberg has already endured two full knee reconstructions in his short career.

Triple M's boundary rider Neroli Meadow has reported that the 22 year-old hasn't reappeared from the rooms.

Scharenberg has been a pivotal part of the Collingwood defence this year and hopefully it is not as bad as it looks. 

The Pies can't take a trick with injuries this year with a number of key players being sidelined for the majority of the year. 

The severity of the injury has not been confirmed by Collingwood officials, but it looks like his day is done.
