Saturday February 10, Western Australians get their first taste of live sport at our brand, spanking new Perth Stadium.

The Fremantle Dockers made the announcement that on this momentous day, their AFLW team will play what is slated to be the opening game of the 2018 season, and, the first football match at the new stadium.

What's more, entry for the game will just be $2, with proceeds going to charity.

It's expected that both Freo fans and curious sports fans will flock to the game, to be a part of history. The record crowd for an AFLW game is currently set at 24,500 punters, set last season at Princes Park in the 2017 AFLW season opener between Carlton and Collingwood.

It's expected that the attendance at this game will smash that record.
