Footy live stats are down all over the internet, seemingly due to a problem at Champion Data level.

The AFL website is caught up in the issues and it’s causing absolute chaos.

The stats seems to have stopped updating at around the 20 minute mark of the second quarter, with the scores at 71 v 33.

Other sites — including AFL.com.au — rely on Champion for live Dream Team and Super Coach scores, and as a result everyone’s in the dark about what’s happening.

Naturally they’ve taken to Twitter to register their disgust, mostly (and apparently incorrectly) at the AFL.

Richmond lead the first game of the season 15.11 (101) to 12.4 (76) at three quarter time.
