Former North Melbourne and Carlton star Jarrad Waite has told Triple M’s Rush Hour that he thinks Collingwood will beat West Coast in Saturday’s AFL grand final.

Waite thinks the Magpies’ pressure will prove too much for the Eagles and that the predicted wet weather could nullify the impact West Coast key forwards Josh Kennedy and Jack Darling will have.

“I think the ‘Woods are going to be too good, just the way they pressure,” Waite said.

“Hopefully they didn’t use all their tickets from the Tiggers game ... if they don’t allow West Coast to get the ball in their forward 50, that’s what they need to do and I reckon they’re going to do it.

“They probably need a couple of their small forwards Collingwood, obviously if you’re getting three or four of them kicking two or three (goals), then it’s going to be real challenging.”
